Thoughtful Man Hand Drawn Pencil Sketch AI Prompt

Use the uploaded photo only as the facial identity reference. Preserve recognizable facial features, natural proportions, and authentic facial details.
Create a masterfully hand-drawn graphite pencil portrait, vertical 4:5, on softly textured ivory-white drawing paper. The artwork should feel like an original fine-art illustration, combining realistic facial anatomy with expressive pencil strokes, delicate shading, and intricate cross-hatching.

POSE & FRAMING: Relaxed, intimate waist-up seated portrait. The subject leans slightly forward, resting one cheek gently against a loosely curled fist, with the elbow supported below. The opposite forearm rests horizontally across the bottom foreground. Head subtly tilted toward the supporting hand, shoulders naturally relaxed. Centered composition with complete hair visible, balanced headroom, and both forearms extending toward the lower edges.

EXPRESSION: Soft, warm, thoughtful expression with relaxed eyes, a delicate closed-mouth half-smile, and subtly lifted mouth corners. Gentle, approachable, naturally charming—never exaggerated, posed, or overly cheerful.

HAIR & CLOTHING: Naturally styled hair with beautifully illustrated individual strands, adapted to the person's identity. Casual dark open-collar shirt with loosely rolled-up sleeves, natural fabric folds, and detailed pencil shading. Preserve natural facial hair if present.

ARTISTIC STYLE: Exceptional graphite realism with finely rendered eyes, delicate eyelashes, subtle skin texture, expressive hair strokes, layered pencil shading, and intricate cross-hatching across the face, hands, and clothing. Soft highlights created by untouched paper, rich charcoal-dark accents, delicate midtones, and visible hand-drawn linework.

BACKGROUND: Minimal ivory-white paper with faint diagonal pencil hatching behind the shoulders, gradually fading into untouched paper toward the edges. Organic unfinished sketch boundaries.

FINAL LOOK: Timeless, romantic, emotionally warm fine-art pencil illustration. Authentic traditional drawing craftsmanship, elegant tonal depth, and beautifully soft facial expression.

Avoid: Photography, digital painting, colored pencils, artificial smoothness, harsh expressions, exaggerated smiles, distorted hands, heavy outlines, solid backgrounds, and excessive contrast.
